WHY DESTINATION CHURCH ?

SO YOU CAN LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST!

This is the message of the Kingdom of God summed up. God didn’t send His only Son to just save us but to give us life that is destined for greatness and fullness. This is not something that is to be achieved at the end of our lives, but rather a place or destination we are called to live in as His children right now.

“I (Jesus) have come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

WHAT TO EXPECT

At Destination Church, our heartbeat is for God and His people. Every decision we make is based upon this truth. As soon as you enter our campuses, you will find that love comes in all shapes and colors. We are from many cultures, generations, and walks of life. So it’s not about how you look, where you are from, or how you got here.

The Destination experience is about meeting people where they are and ultimately leading them to greater purpose, destiny, and quality of life. After one visit, you will quickly see why we are radically in love with Jesus Christ! He makes our lives full in every way, and our mission is that you will feel the same!

MEET OUR PASTORS

Pastors Shawn Coley and his wife Pastor Crystal Coley met while attending World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio. Upon graduating and marrying in 2000, they both retuned to West Virginia to serve under his father Bishop C.D. Coley as youth pastors. In 2010, Shawn took over the ministry as senior pastor, eventually renaming the church New Destiny Ministry Center, and now Destination Church.

Together they have set out to build a legacy of diversity and radical pursuit of God’s presence and miraculous power while expanding the ministry and message of His Kingdom.

ONE CHURCH! TWO LOCATIONS!

Expansion and Kingdom reach has always been in Pastor Shawn’s heart.  With apostolic faith, the K-Ville campus raised a launch team and the funding through the J19 Campaign to start a mobile campus.  In April of 2017, Destination Church launched a second location in Frederick, Maryland.  This campus continues to grow and thrive in one of the most populated areas of the city.

Both campuses are committed to reaching the unsaved outside of the church walls, being a resource to the local community, raising up committed disciples and followers of Christ, creating community and connection, and unapologetically allowing the manifested power of God to be evident to all!
